Facilities

Dominion Packaging is strategically located on the eastern corridor of the United States, approximately 95 miles south of Washington D.C. and between Atlanta and Boston. Our facility is located in the heart of Richmond, Virginia with easy access to interstates 95 and 64 and just 15 minutes from Richmond International Airport. We also have sales offices located in other areas of the country to facilitate face-to-face communication with our customers.

Press Room

Our 85,000-square foot press room has multiple layout options for both added capacity and growth in the future. It currently houses our rotogravure presses.

Warehouse

Our warehouse contains 150,000 square feet of space. There is also a 15,000-square foot secured storage area for sensitive or promotional items.

Quality Control Lab

We have a fully equipped quality control lab with the latest in testing equipment to ensure that customer specifications are met.

Finishing Department

As a compliment to our printing operations, we also offer a range of finishing and gluing services with our in-house finishing department.

Customer Accomodations

Our facility houses a newly designed customer lounge. We also have large training and meeting rooms available inside the facility.

Our 250,000-square foot building is completely fenced in on 17 acres of land with a monitored fire protection system and a newly installed state-of-the-art security system. Our facility was built with rotogravure printing in mind, and below are some of the many features that our facilities have to offer.

Press Equipment

Our facility houses multiple rotogravure presses that run everything from narrow to wide web paperboard to manufacture:

Finishing Equipment

One can see that Dominion offers more than your typical press room. Under the same roof, we operate multiple speed fold and corner tray gluers equipped with state-of-the-art glue systems.

Slitting Equipment

Dominion Packaging also offers paperboard slitting services for our customers. We have a number of slitting machines that we use to slit and wind various products from inner frame to small caliper paperboard.
